What’s in the 80-year-old woman’s truest Hue taste beef noodle bowl?

A full bowl of beef noodles costs 25,000 VND, but workers who buy 10,000 noodles also sell them, then add more to get customers to eat.

Passers-by will be drawn to the image of the old lady, sitting in front of the old house with a rustic beef noodle pot, radiating fragrance, beginning in the late afternoon when crossing Chi Lang Street (Hue City) to No. 107.Simple, rustic beef noodle shop beneath an old house's porch at 107 Chi Lang (Hue City).

Locals are familiar with this dining location. Phan Thi Mai (80 years old) owns the Hue beef noodle shop and has been selling Hue beef noodles on this road for more than 50 years.

The locals call this simple booth "Bun Bo Sang." There are only three sets of plastic tables and a few low chairs, but just "opening the pot" requires diners to "rub," while waiting in line.

The majority of diners are locals.

When I asked some friends, they told me that the unique, rustic flavor of Hue is what makes this noodle shop stand out.

Mr. Pham Van Lien (80, Gia Hoi Ward, HCMC) Hue), the restaurant's "senior" customer, stated: "Ms. Mai has been selling noodles on this Chi Lang street for 50 years because I eat familiarly, I only eat here to feel delicious, the truest Hue taste."

Bun Bo Sang restaurant's Hue standard water pot.

It's called beef vermicelli, but the original beef noodle soup for Hue people must be "beef noodle soup," so the broth of this 80-year-old woman is also full of meat. Accompanied by greasy crab patties, all blended, turning on the scent as if to awaken the person waiting's senses.

When asked what the secret was to making a "standard" Hue beef noodle pot, the owner was candid: "Mệ (grandmother - PV) will cook everything in the same braised pot, including the meat, spring rolls, patties, and blood tendons. The sweetness will come from the casserole bones, combined with the gentle aroma of lemongrass, and then seasoned to taste, particularly with a little delicious fish sauce."Rich beef noodle bowl with vibrant colors.

Hue-based beef vermicelli is typically smaller than that found elsewhere, and it is made from rice flour mixed with filtered flour, making it clearer and tougher. When you pour water into the vermicelli, it will not break. Raw vegetables are also served "very Hue," with thinly sliced banana corn, herbs, cilantro onions, prices...

She explained that the broth has a mild spicy flavor and little sweetness because the beef noodles are served to Hue people. The water is clear but rich in the spiciness of lemongrass and chili and is best served with a little chili sauce and sliced fruit peppers. For over 50 years, she has been selling noodles on Chi Lang Street.

Ms. Mai charged 25,000 VND for a bowl of beef noodles that embodied the essence of ancient capital cuisine.

"My guests are long-time acquaintances, mostly locals, not passing through, so it's just a price. Sometimes laborers who buy 10,000 mattresses also sell, then give them more to eat, because they do not want to make money when people are unhappy "She stated.Hue people frequently serve with a small amount of chili sauce and sliced fruit peppers in fish sauce.

This rustic Hue beef noodle shop keeps diners not only because of the delicious taste, and standard taste... but also because of the cuteness in the gentle personality of Hue's 80-year-old woman.Served with raw vegetables. The broth pot is always hot and emits a pleasant aroma. Many people come to this Hue beef noodle shop because of her gentle personality.

Lotus conical hat: Exquisite and innovative products made by Hue artisans

People will remember Hue land for the relaxed girls in purple tunics and slanted conical hats full of tenderness. Hue's daughter, ao dai, and conical hat appear to become a familiar image, a characteristic that cannot be mixed, always filling someone with praise.

Conical hats in Hue have many strange and unique variations that impress new visitors. The image of traditional hats made of lotus leaf material recently makes the Vietnamese tourist community "admire" because it is so unique. The lotus conical hat sparked a new way in the Vietnamese community.

A member with a social networking account named Hong Thao recently posted a few pictures of the dreamy land of Hue on the group Vietnam Oi. In contrast to travel reviews that introduce the scenery in the Ancient Capital, this girl chose to share photos of her conical hat. This traditional and one-of-a-kind hat is made even more special because it is made from lotus leaves, a tree that carries the rustic "soul" of Hue land.

The hats have a familiar image, but instead of ivory white from palm fiber as before, they are impressively embellished with the green color of lotus leaves as well as some unique ridges. It's still the traditional hat of mothers and aunts, but it has a subtle newness to it.

The hat has a delicate beauty in both the ingredients and the craftsmanship.

The lotus leaf hat is a one-of-a-kind new product designed in Hue.

There is a profession of making hats in the land of Ancient Capital; the "career" has been for thousands of generations but has been preserved throughout. There are more than seven hat-making villages in this area, but this particular lotus hat was created by a man who is just over 30 years old, a freelance painter with a strong interest in the land of "nerves."

The image of the green, eye-catching hat with each leaf vein clearly shows the processor's ingenuity, becoming unique and valuable. The lotus conical hat is not only a unique gift for visitors from far away when they first visit Hue, but it also symbolizes the country's thousand-year-old beauty. It also helps you take beautiful photos when checking into places in Hue. Currently, each conical hat costs between 200 thousand and 250 thousand VND.

Both the inside and outside exhibit individuality and appeal.

Currently, the image of the lotus hat is very popular in the Vietnam group, receiving the members' love. Many members were taken aback by the hat maker's ingenuity in creating such a delicate product out of lotus leaves. Furthermore, many young people have promised to visit Hue and "take advantage of" this one-of-a-kind conical hat.

- Beautiful and impressive. Thank you to the skilled artisans here.

- Looking at conical hats brings back memories of Huong River, tea, Dong Ba market, and the drizzle in the days leading up to spring.

The Golden Season in Rú Chá’s Mangroves

The forest filled with the golden color of the price tree in the early days of October 10 created a poetic picture of the ancient capital of Hue.Every late autumn, hundreds of photographers from all over the country flock to Rú Chá, located about 15 kilometers east of Hue city center. The Tam Giang - Cầu Hai lagoon, is one of the last remaining mangrove ecosystems (the largest brackish lagoon in Southeast Asia). The Rú Chá mangrove forest is approximately 5.8 hectares in size.According to locals, the name Rú Chá, ‘rú’ refers to the mountain forest, and "chá" is the camp reading of the word "giá". With 27 species, the vegetation here is quite diverse. Price trees, in particular, account for more than 80% of the forest area.Giá is a plant with shallow flooded roots that serve as a home for cuffs. R Chá mangrove forest is also known as a shield for Thuan An sea's mainland. The male and female flowers of the rack are not found on the same plant because it is a monophyletic species. The flowers are pale yellow, 3-12cm long, and grow in the leaf axils. The Rú Chá mangrove area has almost no animal hunting due to its small size and strict management procedures imposed by the local government. As a result, this area has become home to hundreds of different bird and animal species.Because the Rú Chá mangrove forest is less vulnerable to natural disasters, people flock here during the floating season to avoid flash floods.

After being affected by the Covid-19 epidemic for more than two years, R Chá welcomed many tourists from across the country this year, in addition to local visitors.

Ms. Hoang Lan (52 years old) is a resident of Ho Chi Minh City. HCM revealed: "After seeing many images of R Chá on social media, I decided to visit Hue this year. I was lost in a fairytale forest full of dreams when I arrived here."For many years, photographers have chosen the image of fishermen fishing in mangroves as a theme.Mr. Binh (42), a local fisherman, stated, "This year Rú Chá is not as beautiful as previous years due to a lot of rain, but the amount of shrimp and fish is more than every year."Contribute to the promotion of Rú Chá in particular and Hue tourism in general. The People's Committee of Hue City (Thua Thien Hue) recently announced a 2022 art photo contest and video clip with the theme "Rú Chá, Con Tè - Colors of the River." This is a competition to find beautiful works about Rú Chá, Con Tè, and Tam Giang lagoon area in Hue city to exhibit, communicate, and promote these two places.

Wild Feast of A Da of the Tà Ôi people on the Trường Sơn Mountains

The Tà Ôi people's traditional A Da festival is held at the end of the year after the harvest has been completed. Tà Ôi organizes A Da in the hope of having a good harvest and a warm new year.According to Tà Ôi ethnic group customs in A Lưới district (Thua Thien Hue), the A Da Festival, also known as the New Rice Festival, is the second largest festival after the people's Ariêu Ping festival. This weekend, the Cultural Tourism Village of Vietnam's Ethnic Groups (Dong Mo, Hanoi) faithfully recreated this ritual. The A Da ceremony was attended by the village elders and their chiefs, guests, representatives of their descendants, and village elders at the village's Rong house. The number of offerings for each household will be determined by the village elder. Pipe-grilled blue rice, pipe-grilled wild rat, pipe-grilled stream fish, chicken, chicken egg, pig, cake, wine, and other offerings are frequently found on the offering tray.It is a very traditional type of Tà Ôi cake. Every year, the Tà Ôi people celebrate the Feast of A Da in the 12th month of the calendar. The Tà Ôi people had to prepare for the A Da festival a month in advance.People pound rice by hand to make cakes for their ancestors. This is a glutinous rice cake wrapped in a 2-headed cone shape. The cake resembles northern and southern tacos but lacks chickpea filling and meat. The Tà Ôi ethnic group is also known by many other names, including Pa Co, Ta Uot, KanTua, Pa Hy... They lived for a long time in Truong Son Mountains. The cultivation method is similar to that used by the Co Tu and Bru - Van Kieu clans. During the A da ceremony, two young Tà Ôi men hold a diced stick (a traditional musical instrument).Ơ Giàng, the priest vowed. There is fragrant wine, cooked meat, and delectable cakes here; please return and receive them for the hearts of the locals. In the ceremony, the village elders will represent the families, and then in the assembly, the relatives eat and drink to congratulate each other, and they dance and sing to celebrate the good harvest. The dice and gong drums blended with the joyful dances, applause, and bright smiles on the Tà Ôi people's lips. The end of the A Da ceremony is also when the sound of dice and the rhythm of the people are heard. This dice stick makes constant, erratic noise. The voices of isolated tribes in the deep forest echoed in the distance. After the ceremony, the village elders, priests, and people all joined in the musical feast and danced around the altar.

This is a large primary forest that is home to 2373 plant species and 1715 animal species, including many rare species listed in the Red Book of Vietnam and the World Red Book of Endangered Species.

The name Bạch Mã is derived from several anecdotes concerning the mountain's perpetual cloud cover. People in this area used to look up and see the white mist rising to form a horse-shaped mass. According to another legend, a general rode a white horse up the mountain and then mysteriously vanished.

Bach Ma National Park's weather is divided into two distinct seasons: dry season and rainy season. The dry season, which lasts from 12 to 4 months each year, is the best time to visit because the climate of the national park is quite cool, it is dry, it rains less, it is easy to move around, and it is convenient to participate in outdoor activities such as trekking, swimming, and camping... The climate is also cool during the rainy season, but there are frequent showers, which can impede your movement.2.
Decorative Mosaic Art in Khai Dinh Mausoleum

The scientist Le Quy Don wrote about Thuan Hoa, which is now the city of Hue, in his work "Phu Bien Magazine" in 1776. He said that the walls of the outer walls were all made many yards thick, with lime and porcelain pieces to make dragons, phoenixes, lions, tigers, and flower grass. The Nguyen lords' era was characterized by mosaic art like that. The art of adorning porcelain objects was widely adopted by the Nguyen kings. The decoration of green enamel porcelain pieces in the form of dragons (dragon heads, horse bodies) on the screen may be seen directly in the Tu Duc mausoleum.

Perhaps the Khai Dinh mausoleum's inner construction represents the height of mosaic art. King Khai Dinh took control of the mausoleum's construction in 1920 while he was still alive. The mausoleum is located around 8 kilometers south of the nation's capital. To construct the mausoleum, King Khai Dinh organized competent domestic laborers. In addition to the stunning Vietnamese porcelain, he imported cement, iron, steel, tile, and porcelain from France as well as colorful glass from China and Japan. Therefore, it will take 11 years to finish the mausoleum, which is magnificent and elaborate.

The interior of Thien Dinh Palace, which houses the Khai Thanh Palace, the king's tomb, and a monument of the monarch, is decorated with mosaic art. Hundreds of mosaics made out of porcelain and colored glass that are embellished on the walls, columns, and altar cells showcase mosaic art.

The dragon, the representation of the king's "dragon destiny," is the most significant decorative motif. Both a straight and an angled perspective of a dragon are shown. Big eyes, lion-like noses, two pointed horns, a mane, ears, a long beard, five claws, a meandering body, and a large open mouth that can contain pearls or swastikas are all characteristics of dragons. These two "Long Ngư hý thủy" paintings are wonderfully painted on the altar. The altar is possibly the most lovely location to display the dragon image. There are numerous Swastika motifs that have positive connotations and represent the Buddha. There are also a lot of porcelain mosaics used to decorate plants and flowers. The multicolored porcelain pieces that are inlaid were all acquired from various sources by breaking the jar to obtain the piece. How to neatly embellish each cell, square, or rectangle in a molded artwork. The paintings have a tight texture. The pieces of multicolored porcelain still have their original hue and exhibit brilliance, are slightly colorful, and are exquisitely detailed, befitting the position of a king of the Nguyen Dynasty. The Nguyen King who is most attractive is this. The dragon and swastika images on the altar were made by artisans in an apparent attempt to grant King Khai Dinh a happy afterlife in the Buddhist world.

The Main Impregnation area, where the King's Tomb is located below, is another decorative highlight. In this location, there is a statue of the King and a canopy (bửu tán) built of concrete, iron, and steel, yet its lines are very soft and delicate. The mosaics made of porcelain and glass are arranged in umbrella- and compartment-like patterns on the pedestal of the statue. The topic continues to be dragons, swastikas, and flowers. A dragon-like figure holding phrases can be seen on the ceiling. Its four corners each have an image of a bat, suggesting blessings for the monarch (the Vietnamese term for the bat, Biên Phúc, sounds the same as the English Blessed is good). When five bats are decorated, it might be seen as "Ngũ phúc lâm môn" coming together. There are rows of columns with dragons adorning their bodies in The Main Impregnation. The Buddha's emblem is inlaid with blue glass, and there are hundreds of swastikas that have been simplified throughout Hậu Tẩm.

There are magnificent mosaics depicting phoenixes, tigers, deer, sparrows, peacocks, roosters, cranes, ducks, rabbits, and floral grass on the walls of the mausoleum. Most commonly found in Vietnamese villages, many animals live in close proximity to people and their ideal lifestyles. The four-season picture depicts the typical flower for each season: pine, bamboo, chrysanthemum, and apricot. The lotus bloom can also represent a particular season of the year on occasion. The Five Blessings are symbolized, in particular, by the picture of five bats flying across the clouds. In some paintings, the letters Phuc and Tho are depicted as large letters.

Porcelain, glass, and stone mosaics are a type of decoration that incorporates many traditional cultural elements that are expressed in themes that were prevalent in Vietnamese society at the time. These decorations are quite similar to folk paintings in terms of themes and the art of selecting occasionally vibrant colors.

The mausoleum's exquisite beauty showcases the peak of modern mosaic art and the creativity of artisans and craftsmen from the convergent regions. The importance of cultural and national heritages is buried deep within the scope of the contest's theme.
